Nickname: miriyam           Budgeting Since: 01/01/2009 Budeting tips, how miriyam is saving money: buy only on sales, use coupons, feed less my husband lillyn: We don't use paper towels or napkins. Gotta do the laundry anyway and are saving over $30 a month. Every little bit helps. Buy sale items, have food storage for an emergency, don't eat out, buy clothes at thrift stores, no texting on our cell phones (also limit usage as much as possible, no long chats since our home line is cheaper and has unlimited nationwide longdistance. Don't go to movies, wait until they are available from Netflix.  26/06/2010 14:14 gottasave: I think this is where my problem is. Paper products, freezer bags, meats, frozen veggies. Buy on sale in bulk so I don't buy the same items on a monthly basis. This month I spent $120 on meats that will last 3-4 months. Next month it's frozen veggies, salmon, talipa and cod $130, April is paper products and toiletries.
