Nickname:           Budgeting Since: 23/05/2009 What am I doing to save my money: The most stupid thing I spend money on: take out, quick items for kids for meals, husband smokes, too many bbq's and more..... JenATonic02: Go grocery shopping! Then when you get a chance you can just pre-make several different meals that you can pop into the microwave or oven. Do this like once a week and freeze or refrigerate it all and when you are ready for a meal, it doesn't take much to fix it and you only have spent your time on it just that one day a week! As for husband smoking, I recommend Chantix. It worked great for me (smoked for 8 years) and great for my step dad (smoked for 25 years). It is somewhat expensive if your health insurance won't cover any of it, however it is just pennies compared to how much money is spent on cigarettes! And finally the BBQ's, I know everyone LOVES a good BBQ, but if you are cooking for your friends and such, suggest having them bring an item.
