STOP SMOKING! Will kill you or make you wish you were dead later and is making your kids sick. That will save a fortune. Then, the toys. Divide your kids toys in half. Bag up one half and stash away in a garage or attic. Switch them out every six months or so. It wil be like CHRISTMAS to them. Then, adopt this new policy: To get any new toy, you must donate or sell an older one. This goes for Christmas, birthdays, etc. If you get them donating, it will allow them to feel good about themself and establish confidence. For example allow yourself to eat out only 2x's a month and set an amount to put towards eating out. Or each month allocate money for one thing on the list for example Feb you get to eat out 2x's. Only buy what is needed.   01/07/2009 13:03 Carey: I have just started cooking a variety of "easy" foods that I freeze in individual pyrex dishes for 2 weeks, because usually we "eat out" for convenience. Keep a smoking journal and learn what triggers you to reach for a cigarettte. Take all the toys and put them in a closet and have the kids "select" a few toys to play with and when they tire of that toy you take them back to the closet and "exchange" for a different toy.
