Budeting tips, how ladyof4 is saving money:
I'm a single mother of four beautiful children and times are very hard right now. I work at Target anf I make $8.21 a hour and I barely making it.So I need away to budget the little bit that I got.

kibbzy: , its the emotion that gets you on this one, shopping makes you feel better, so lets look at why you are in the shop to begin with, to be social? or just to look like you've got the money to shop?, what ever it is there is always an underlying issue that your trying to cover up with over spending and buying gifts for your family, you love them, but you need to think of healthier ways of showing them you care.  03/02/2010 05:35
moneykeeper: Check the weekly circular for sales on things you need or even like. Then circle those things and create a list of those things. that helps me stay focused on the things that are really important to me at the time of the sale. If you realize that you purchased things necessary you can return them if you keep the receipt and return the items within the return period. I put the receipts inside a box a shoe box. Helena: Make a list. If your issue is with cheap prices at Target, stop shopping there and avoid the place completely. Ask someone to do the errand you need and give them the money for that one item. Perhaps look into the deeper reasons why you are being a shop-a-holic or doing brainless spending....sort of like brainless eating....isn't it?  09/09/2009 00:48

Beautyfull: Make a list before you go in. Only buy the things on your list. Keep your list in your hand to remind you when you think about buying something that is not on your list.
