Every time you spend something you need to record it in a balance book. what i do is round to the next dollar. if i spend 9.24 i record that i spent 10.00 that way when you look at your balance book you see how much you can spend. We were shocked to see how much we were spending on absolutely nothing! But from this we became more brutally aware of all the money we were wasting, and were able to compromise and cut back on frivolous things. We probably saved $500 the first month we did this! A set amount for the whole week. Take your credit cards, debit cards, etc out of your wallet so you can't use them and you are forced to use your cash allowance. Once that money is gone you must wait until allowance giveout day. We saved almost $200 a week doing this!Then plan that one day every week you pay bills that are due for the next week.
