If those 10 items are things you need, you appreciate them a lot more. When my mother gave me a rundown of how much everything cost at approximately the same age, I almost felt guilty for asking for things I knew I didn't need. Then go to makeupalley.com. you find out the best of everything, read reviews on all makeup products and you find out what's best for you before you buy it and waste money. they also tell you the best replacements for the high end brands. best thing for me. Cris: buy a crapload of extra meat when you barbeque and make a lot of extra long lasting foods(enough for the week) rice, beans, etc. and only cheap meats. sausages, hot dogs, not really good ideas, --- instead of take out do the cereal, sandwich, salad(lettuce) rice thing. Make sure you only use that amount weekly for fast food. Now, this may sound tacky, but i stopped going to the higher end stores and started going to Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Doesn't work a bit for clothes and shoes ;( but once you do some research on the products, the beauty supplies and skincare products aren't that bad.   05/08/2009 08:16 Norman: Food - take outs Coffees in everyd... Cris: do the sandwich things for a week. buy just the stuff you need for your favorite type of sandwich. takes awhile to remember to prepare it, but you save so much, especially for two weeks. Save a bunch on bank fees. if you have MS Outlook set reminders for credit card due dates. We will always need things we don't need, right?   05/08/2009 08:11 More users are budgeting and saving money on fast food: Carey: Shop at Goodwill, prepare 2 weeks of frozen home-cooked dinners so we don't eat fast food for convenience, we rarely go to entertainment style venues, we brew our own coffee every morning, buy Costco brand cat food 25lbs for $15, switched to a "farm vet" outside of city and that saved a TON of money! I also buy shower cleaners at the Dollar store and now use Peroxide as a general cleaner and it works Great! cut down on fast food, buying things I don't NEED Eat less fast food.
