Stay home. Go out to eat occasionally. Rent a movie. Never use a credit card that we cannot pay off w/in 2 payments. shop at thrift stores and yard sales.

Student Loan interest. I have been paying on for 10 years

scott.c.a.: To see exactly how much we are spending and on what. To get a handle on spending and get some savings going.
Leave the credit card at home, start using cash:
scott.c.a.: I like this tip and use it all the time. We don't even use a debit card.
