Budeting tips, how moneykeeper is saving money:
Buy sale items. Use rebates, coupons, rewards cards. I also reuse as many things as possible. I make some of my own things(food, clothes). I buy washable clothing. If the item says "Dry Clean Only" I use the home drying cleaning kit. Some drying cleaning clothes I wash also in cold water. I shop at discount stores, not the mall. I buy store brand products, not name brand products.I polish our shoes at home, wear the same clothes twice in the week before washing(Febreeze is a wonder!)I buy in bulk whenever possible.

moneykeeper: Consolidate your cable and mobile phone bill with your cable company if it's feasible. Look for sales on clothing. Shop at your local thrift shop. They have very good bargains on top quality clothes. You just have to look for the style that fits you. I since you might be trying to stay in vogue. That's expensive! Choose some basic colors(navy blue, black, brown, gray, tan, green) for your pants (if you're a man or skirt if you're a woman). You can even add shades of the same colors as time goes on. Then choose some basic blazers(if you're a woman) or jacket (if you're a man). Add accessories such as colorful scarfs or jewelry (if you're a woman). Colorful tops or shirts can add style to your clothing. Also, keep in mind, you're dressing for yourself, not anyone else. Styles come and go. But classics remain forever. Then circle those things and create a list of those things. that helps me stay focused on the things that are really important to me at the time of the sale. If you realize that you purchased things necessary you can return them if you keep the receipt and return the items within the return period. I put the receipts inside a box a shoe box.
